Been Coding for a week now continously. Been working on our Class of 81 ReUnion site. The initial features of the site are uploaded and I thought I'd blog about it. Realised that I was too tired to do it.

So, I went ahead and cleaned my SiteRoll. Deleted Blogs that I dont read anymore and added some new ones.

Its 3:26am in Chennai and I'm gonna crash out..

The Black Buck beats Salman's Black Bucks

I came across this blog post on Salman Khan's conviction through a DP mention. There are several other folks who are seriously affected by the court decision to punish SK. They are asking, "Hey, after all he just killed a buck, not Aiswraya Rai" .

I strongly agree with them. Salman shouldn't have been sent to jail. He should have been set free....set free in The Wild, preferably in the African jungles. After all, he's not an endangered species. I'm sure that the animal kingdom would have passed on their own judgements then...

Salman did not just kill a buck. He is a habitual offender. He is a disturbed human being. This is not the only case against him. And the cases are not just about murder of innocent animals...

Killing a black buck is a lesser crime ? if it is done by cute looking movie-stars? or ex-Nawabs? Hey, they killed a life-form on earth that's fast dwindling. If not being prosecuted and sentenced for planned homicide, they should be shot dead for endangering the ecology. Shot Dead? Isn't that a bit hard Don? Hey, no, after all like I said earlier, stupid, indifferent and megalomaniac movie stars are not an endangered species and a few less would never be noticed. In fact of late, they have become overpoulated and an evolution curbing process is very much required.

Ecology is being taught to my 4 year old kid in school. Anyone telling me that SK was not aware of the crime he was committing, obviously needs to be sent along with SK to The Wild. Funny some of us crib so much that the laws are favoring the rich, but when the law does not favour the rich, we crib more...

I haven't watched a single movie of Salman and so posess no qualification to talk about his acting or the black bucks he makes, but I'm sure that as a popular muscled actor, he would have donned the role of a lawman in some of his movies and punished the Bad Guys. And now he has been a Bad Guy and the Lawman has caught up with him.....

AND JUSTICE FOR ALL

Actually, I wanted to Title this post - "Fucked by the Buck", but knowing Google's love for Blogs, I dont want my blog featuring in porn related searches :]

HEALTH - QUESTION &ANSWER SESSION

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?

A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?

A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?

A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?

A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?

A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?

A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! ... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?

A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?

A: Are you crazy? HELLO . Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?

A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?

A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

And remember:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming Whoo what a ride".

 Thanks Mukund, for the mail.
