I started my career a a Medical Representative in 1981 and migrated in 1983 to a more glamorous and challenging industry - Garments. I started working as a Designer and Marketing Manager for a fashion brand called Lemac and subsequently marketed and sold renowned brands such as Zodiac, Stencil, Wrangler, Legend and Pantaloons.

In the early 90s, while working for the Enfield Group I was bitten by the computer bug and started associating myself with the EDP department and implemented technology in areas of billing and sales. Burning the midnight oil, I taught myself programming and coding techniques and kept in touch with the latest in IT.

In 1998, when I was offered a position to head Sales & Marketing for Trends Infonet, a Wipro Channel partner, I didn't hesitate and started selling hardware and indigenous software. My contacts within the IT industry expanded.

During the IT boom in the late 90s, I realised the potential the Web and NewMedia offered. Burning the midnight oil, I taught myself Design, Programming and Coding techniques and kept in touch with the latest in IT. In 1999, I joined PentaSoft Technologies/PentaMedia Graphics and developed/marketed Interactive New Media solutions. I was a core member of the Mayajaal team, which conceptualised and created India's 1st Multiplex family Entertainment Center. These years exposed me to emerging technologies like 3-D, CSS, php and XHTML.

I quit in 2001 and started expanding my wife's own company, Quicksilver VoHo. From Dec 2001 till date , under my leadership, Quicksilver SoHo has diversified from HR Placements into multi various activities and marginally shifted its identity to a VoHo. We have expanded through tie-ups into Portal Design and Management, External Marketing, Brand Development and New Age Media. In the process we also developed strategic alliances with other players in the same industry apart from Event Management, Tourism, and Entertainment.
